Sprint Race 3D Walkthrough

Sprint Race 3D is a simple, yet entertaining racing game. This racing game features polygonal 3D graphics, simple controls, and challenging gameplay.

Sprint Race 3D pits you in a one-on-one street race. Your objective is to cross the finish line before your computer-controlled competitor. This racing game starts out easy, but things become more difficult as your progress. Unfortunately, your progress is not saved, so you will have to start from the first level each time that you play.

Sprint Race 3D uses a simple keyboard control scheme that is common in racing games. The up arrow key is used to accelerate and the down arrow key is used to brake. The left and right arrow keys are used to steer. Since there are no boosts or powerups, you will have to rely on raw skill to weave through traffic and navigate each track.

Like most racing games, the AI can navigate the track with ease in Sprint Race 3D. This does not make the computer difficult to beat, however. Your car seems to have a higher top speed and better acceleration. If you are able to get the lead and maintain it, you should be able to whip the AI in every race. What makes the game challenging, however, is the traffic. Later levels will force you to dodge traffic in your lane and oncoming traffic to get tot he finish line. Your opponent will also have to dodge traffic, however, and the AI seems to really slow down when faced with oncoming cars. For this reason, it may behoove you to cause a few accidents to bottle your opponent in and secure your lead.

Sprint Race 3D may not be the most furious, but it is fast, and certainly is entertaining. If you have ever wanted to participate in a street race but don't want to wind up behind bars or have your car taken to an impound lot, then Sprint Race 3D may be a good simulation where you can enjoy the thrills of street racing without any of the consequences. Unfortunately, you won't get any of the money or babes either, but at least you'll have fun.
