Meteoro Speed Walkthrough

Meteoro Speed is a racing game based on the Hot Wheels brand of car toys and the Speed Racer media franchise. This racing game features eight unique vehicles, thrilling gameplay, and great visuals.

The objective of Meteoro Speed is to complete three laps on each track as quickly as possible. Unlike other racing games, you cannot bump into the edge of the track, and driving off of the track does not slow you down; instead, if you drive off of the track you will hurtle to your doom! You will be placed back upon the track after falling, but this will cost your precious seconds.

Meteoro Speed features eight vehicles, each with their own top speed, acceleration rate, handling characteristics, and jumping power. In my opinion, Speed Racer's iconic Mach 5 is the best car in this racing game. It is middling in all characteristics, making it easy to control while still having a good top speed and acceleration. Experiment with the different vehicles to find your own favorite!

It is important to make your turns carefully in Meteoro Speed. If you make too wide of a turn, or you hit the corner too fast, you will certainly plummet off of the edge of the track! Instead, it is advisable to slow down as you approach curves. This might take you longer, but will save you time in the long run since you will stay on the track rather than falling off of the edge, which would cost you more time.

Jumping is an addition that makes Meteoro speed a unique driving game. Cars with high jumping power can jump across gaps in the track to create shortcuts. Be careful though, because controlling your vehicle in the air is a difficult feat!

Meteoro Speed features two game modes: practice and actual racing. The game states that racing mode pits you against the laps of previous players, but there seems to be no difference between the two modes. It would have been a great addition had the developers of Meteoro Speed included computer-controlled racers in the racing mode of this racing game, but you can still have fun trying to complete each track as fast as you can.

Meteoro Speed is a unique and challenging racing game. If you are a fan of Speed Racer, or just want to zoom across challenging tracks at breakneck speed, then you will enjoy Meteoro Speed!
