Mad Trucker 2 Walkthrough
Mad Trucker 2 is the second installment in the Mad Trucker series, and is a vast improvement upon the first. The graphics are better-detailed, the gameplay is faster-paced, and there are more powerups to buy to make the game a more enjoyable experience, the most-notable being rockets that are used to clear a path for your truck!
Mad Trucker 2 has two modes: the primary mode, which is played by clicking the "Play" button on the main menu, and Survival Mode, which is unlocked after reaching completing the primary game. To complete the primary game, you must reach 100 miles. There is no time limit, but part of the game's challenge is to reach the goal in as few days as possible.
When driving your truck, you will notice four gauges at the bottom of the game's screen. From left-to-right, these are the repair gauge, food gauge, fuel gauge, and speedometer. If your truck takes too much damage, or you run out of food or fuel, the day ends. Occasionally, repair stations, gas stations, or restaurants will appear, so that you may stop to repair your truck, refuel, or eat, so be on the lookout. The only downside to this is that while you fill one gauge, others may steadily decrease. Repairing, refueling, and eating are free in Mad Trucker 2, unlike the first game.
You can upgrade your truck in the shop between days. I advise buying fuel, repair (armor) and fuel first in order to prolong how far you can travel in one day. After you have bought a few levels of these upgrades, you should buy an engine upgrade, which increases your speed (and in-turn, your rate of earning money). I advise against buying the lights powerup early in the game, since they are not essential to beating the game until you've reached the latter portion of your journey.
Survival mode is similar to the primary mode in terms of gameplay, but the objective is to drive as far as you can in one day. The trick here is to pace yourself, avoid taking damage, and to ration your rockets.
Mad Trucker 2 is simple in concept, but you'll be surprised at just how addicting it can be! I was able to beat the game in 19 days, can you do better? Find out by playing Mad Trucker 2!
