King of Drift is a racing and drifting game. The game features impressively detailed two-dimensional graphics, realistic drifting physics, an engaging soundtrack, and realistic sound effects.

King of Drift is a racing game, but primarily, it is a drifting game. Placing first in a race does not mean that you will necessarily win. The goal in this car game is to drift as much as possible, collecting points to get as high a score as possible. You can also chain drifts in this game in order to multiply your score, but you can lose it all if you crash into the side of the track, or into another car. For this reason, I advise making short, controlled drifts so that you can preserve your score, but as you gain more skill in this game, you may want to take a greater risk for a greater reward!

King of Drift features two game modes: Race and Trick Attack. In both modes, the objective is to drift as much as possible to score points. Race mode features three other computer-controlled cars which you are competing against. Your place in the race does not seem to have an effect on your score, but it can provide an additional challenge to drifting. Trick Attack places you on a track as a solitary racer, with the objective of simply drifting to get as high of a score as possible.

After each race, you are able to earn money to buy new cars. King of Drift has seven cars to choose from, each with their own speed, acceleration, and handling properties. These cars are unlocked by earning points in races. The first unlockable cars do not offer much improvement over your starting car, but later cars are a massive improvement.
