Kart Pro Challenge Walkthrough

Kart Pro Challenge is an entertaining and addictive kart racing game in which your one and only goal is to race around the track as quickly as possible to try and beat your opponents. Although this basic premise isn't terribly unique in the world of kart racing games, the graphics really set this game apart from the pack. While most of the other racing games online settle for second rate graphics and put all of the focus on making the game difficult, this game is really the best of both worlds. The graphics are incredible with almost life like karts and backgrounds, but the track also offers enough twists and turns to make the game truly difficult. That's why this game will appeal to such a wide range of gamers. More experienced racing game players are going to appreciate the detailed graphics but will love the fact that the game actually challenges their racing skills while newcomers who may have a bit of a hard time getting the hang of this one will love the fact that they're having fun even if they're not winning. Also, because the game uses the same standard controls and the same basic format most online racing games use, it isn't too hard to figure out how this game is played. Getting good is a bit of a different story but with a little patience and a little practice, even newcomers to the genre will be able to master this game.

The game screen in Kart Pro Challenge is easy to read and, although it offers a lot of information, it isn't complicated or hard to understand. At the bottom left side of the screen you'll see your lap times. There are five laps in a race and as you progress in the race, you should be able to see your time improving. There are going to be exceptions, of course, but if you pay attention you should be able to track your progress by looking at your lap time. On the right side of the bottom of your screen, you'll see your speed. Keep an eye on your speed, especially as you take corners. If you notice you seem to be getting hung up on the same turn every time, take note of how fast you're going when you approach that turn. Chances are that the problem is fairly simple - you're going too fast. While it might seem like slowing down is a bad way to come in first in a race, the truth is, sometimes slowing down is the only way to come in first in a race. Taking corners, specifically sharp corners, with too much speed is almost always going to make you lose control of your car. You don't need to hit the brakes to slow down though. Instead, just ease off the accelerator a little bit. If you hold down the accelerator you're going to continue gaining speed. Tap it once or twice as you're going around the turn and let yourself coast off that. It won't slow you down a lot, but it will slow you down enough to keep you going.

At the top right of the Kart Pro Challenge game screen, you're going to see one of the most important sources of information in the game - the mini map. Your mini map shows you how you're doing in the race. As on the track, your opponents are the blue karts and you're the red kart. If you don't see any karts around you on the track you're either a fair distance ahead or a fair distance behind the rest of the competition. Unless you're far enough behind that the other karts have lapped you, looking at the mini map will tell you where the other karts are. Knowing where your competition is couldn't be more important. This will tell you if you have any room for error. There's nothing worse than being in first place only to make a small mistake and watch your competition pass you by. If you're in the lead but only by a small distance, focus all of your attention of putting more distance between you and the other karts but more importantly - don't take unnecessary risks. If you have a big lead, there is more room for error so you don't have to be quite as careful. Being reckless is never a good solution, but if you have a good lead, taking a few chances to boost your score isn't a terrible idea.

The key to doing well in Kart Pro Challenge is to take your time with the turns which is pretty much standard in any type of racing game. That's why experienced racing game players are going to have an easier time getting the hang of this game than newcomers to the genre who don't have much racing experience at all. The truth is, though, the game isn't impossible and doesn't take a huge amount of skill. One of the biggest secrets is to keep an eye on the mini map and try to take out the karts on the track. You can easily force your opponents behind you if you can get them on a turn or against a wall. Try to keep all four of your tires on the track and get at least two of theirs off the track. This will slow them down significantly and help you get further ahead of them. You need to be careful though. It isn't hard to lose control when you're trying to run other cars off the track. If you can manage to stay on the track the majority of the time, pay attention to how fast you're going when you hit turns and learn from the mistakes you make in each lap, you can master this game.

Overall, Kart Pro Challenge is an excellent racing game that anyone can enjoy regardless of skill or experience level. Even if you're not able to come in first after multiple races, you're still going to have fun and you'll want to keep playing until you win. The fun will keep going even after you get that first place finish you've been trying for thanks to the high score option. You can choose to either try to beat your own high score or go for the real glory - getting your name on the leader board. This might be a bit of a lofty aspiration for those that haven't been playing racing games for long, but more experienced players are going to love trying to get a score high enough to get their name among the other greats. Whether you're looking for a new racing game to put your racing skills to the test of a fun game to kill a little time with, this one is definitely a game that you need to check out.
