Gride Walkthrough

Gride is a racing game where you don't do much driving - just upgrading. It's a great twist on the racing genre, and if you've never played anything like it before (you haven't) then you're bound to have some fun. While there are only two levels to choose from, you're not likely to beat them the first time you play them.

Each level has tons of unique challenges and problems you'll have to face. And, of course, upgrading your car at the appropriate moment can solve each problem. The first upgrade, anti-gravity, will allow your car to jump. The second upgrade, feather, will drastically increase the speed of your vehicle. The third upgrade, SuperDrag, prevents your tires from slipping on almost any terrain. The fourth upgrade, DeGride, will remove any upgrades from your vehicle.

With these four upgrades, you'll be able to get through any situation you face - but it's still not that easy. Instead of accelerating yourself in this racing game, you'll be driven forward automatically, and have to upgrade according to the level. If you stop at anytime, or even slow down a bit too much, you'll have to restart the level.

One of the coolest features in Gride is the fact that you'll see other players' highscores while you're playing. In both levels, you'll come across flags marking the highscores of other players - and those players will also be able to see how far you've gotten as well.

If you're up for a challenge, Gride is one racing game that won't disappoint. It may take a while to get used to the premise of the game - and the controls - but you'll definitely have a lot of fun. With two huge levels to make it through, there's no reason why you should stop playing this game until you actually do beat it.
