Grand Prix Management Walkthrough

Grand Prix Management is a business game where you must manage a Formula One racing team to glory. This car game features simple graphics, easy-to-navigate interfaces, and superb audio. Although Grand Prix Management can be classified as a racing game, you do not actually drive the cars in each race.

The goal of Grand Prix Management is to manage your team through five categories of races. When you first begin the game, you will be placed in Category E. By winning races, your team will be promoted through the categories, eventually reaching Category A. Rome wasn't built in a day, and a top-class Grand Prix team won't be either. Luckily for you, your progress is saved in this racing game, so you can continue building your team the next time that you play.

When it is time to race, you do not have direct control over your team's car in Grand Prix Management. Instead, you issue orders to your driver to drive a certain way or to make pit stops. Different driving styles are useful in different situations. For example, an aggressive style is good to pass up other cars, while a defensive style is good to save fuel and to avoid damage. As a rule of thumb, order your driver to drive aggressively to clear the pack, then switch to normal mode once they have a comfortable lead in order to save fuel. If your team's car takes too much damage or runs low on fuel, order your driver to make a pit stop. Pit stops will slow you down, but it's better than losing your car or driver!

Aside from races, you will also have to manage your team's personnel and equipment. Train your drivers to improve their performance, and soup up your car to keep up with the competition. Of course, all of these things cost money. Aside from placing well in races, you can also make agreements with sponsors to earn more cash. Using your sponsors' color schemes in races will award you bonus cash upon the completion of each race.

Grand Prix Management is fun game that allows players to control the action from behind the scenes. If you are looking for a racing game that puts you in the driver's seat, then Grand Prix Management obviously isn't for you, but if you prefer to call the shots rather than burn rubber yourself, then you will enjoy this business game!
